Welcome to Calvary Family Church Manchester

Calvary Family Church invites you into a relationship with Christ through the Cross of Calvary. Our prayer is that all nations may come to know the power of the Cross by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour.

We hold a church service every Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome.

At present, the church has four branches strategically located across the UK—in Birmingham, Manchester, and Reading—with the headquarters in Nottingham. The Lord continues to bless and favour the church, as evidenced by the significant growth and progress being made across its ministries and various areas of service.

Our Mission

Our mission in Manchester is to bring entire families to Christ through the transforming power of the Cross of Calvary. We seek to fulfil this mission through godly, anointed leadership; loving and practical fellowship; the sharing of resources; and efficient, appropriate administrative support. In this way, we aim to reach all nations with a shared vision of transformation.

Our history

The vision for Calvary Family Church was planted in the heart of its father and founder, Apostle Dr Madalitso P. Mbewe, in 1992. The ministry began in Malawi, Africa, with its headquarters in Blantyre. It has since become one of the fastest-growing churches in Malawi, with branches established across the world.
